Preferences and privacy
Preferences include device settings that apply immediately to the current App and settings that sync to the account after sign-in. The page header shows the current sync state.
Chat storage, analytics, and notification settings on this page do not change CLI execution permission or provider-data boundaries. See Data and execution boundaries and How App and CLI fit together for scope.
Appearance, language, and timezone
Theme changes apply immediately. Language controls App copy, while timezone controls displayed times and some regional information. Use system setting to follow operating system changes.
Chat history storage
Cloud chats sync to the OriginRouter account. Chats through a Local Proxy or remote device remain on the current device.
Clear local chat history removes only Local Proxy and remote-device conversations from this device. It does not affect cloud conversations, other devices, or the full conversation and related memory stored on the device running the Agent.
Location and usage analytics
- Location detection uses an approximate region only when a location-aware feature needs it.
- Usage analytics sends product usage events without chat content or credentials.
These controls do not change Agent network permissions or approval policy.
Notifications
System push permission affects only the current device. Notification scope can sync across signed-in devices. Action required limits notifications to approvals, input requests, security events, collaboration confirmation, and failures.
Security alerts remain enabled by default. Disabling push on this device does not affect other signed-in devices.
